Our pub
The Fox & Hounds comes highly recommended. Nestled on the edge of the village of Denmead in Hampshire our classic pub has plenty of charm, wonderful views and is just the kind of place you’ll love to while away the hours in.
Our friendly pub combines kitsch & quirky décor with a log burner to keep things cosy in winter and lots of sunny spots to dine alfresco in summer. Our sheltered patio garden with its pergola entwined with clematis and twinkling lights is fabulous for relaxing with friends.
About us
Steve & Angie have built a great reputation for excellent food and service since they took over the Fox & Hounds more than 7 years ago to manage as their own ‘Freehouse’ pub. Chef landlord Steve heads up the team of friendly staff so you can always expect a very cheery reception. Talented Steve also loves to perform various tribute acts to raise money for charity – from Elvis the King to Neil Diamond and Billy Idol. His collection of gins is also truly something to behold. Angie’s artistic eye and green fingers give the pub it’s unique charm and lovely garden. Everyone is welcome at the Fox & Hounds – including welly wearing walkers, kids and dogs.
