OUR FOOD
At the Fox & Hounds, we serve delicious traditional pub favourites and always have plenty of Chef’s special dishes on the blackboard to further tempt your taste buds. Our food is freshly prepared to order using as much locally-sourced and seasonal produce as possible and Angie’s allotment provides freshly picked ingredients too. Enjoy a light lunch, hearty supper or snacks to accompany a few beers. We always have vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options as well as half-sized portions for the little ones.

We’re always keen to support local and independent British brewers as well as quality craft beer producers from around the world. Our beer is well kept and served crisp, clean and fresh – and we’ve got the Cask Marque to prove it! We love to introduce you to new flavours so you’re always more than welcome to sample a beer or two… just ask at the bar.
OUR DRINKS
As well as our excellent and ever changing collection of beers, we have a great wine selection and also a well honed range of fantastic and specialist gins. Oh – and if you discover a beer that you really like, why not order one of our handy 4 pint grogs… and you can take it home with you to finish later.
OUR ALLOTMENT
Just down the road is our handy allotment. A treasure trove of interesting ingredients and a haven of calm. Our chefs love to pop along to harvest fresh salad, scrumptious vegetables, fabulously fragranced herbs and beautiful edible flowers to add to the dishes we serve you.
